A question about sd cards

Hi Guys. I'm new in this forum so i don't know if this questions go here or what sorry in advance :)

Since the close of freeshop, I'm thinking in buy a new sd card because my old card is running low on space and i don't want to erase the games that are installed. So i wonder what files should i copy in the new sd card from the old one? I have fbi injected in the console , luma update in the last version and b9s. I don't really care in the saves or games installed in my current sd card (...

Hello, sorry for asking, but to me hacking the 3ds is a bit complicated.
I received my New 3ds XL today, it comes with 11.2.35E.
This means according to 3ds.guide I should use Soundhax, is this still valid or maybe the guide is outdated.
I don't have a NNID connected to it, and never connected it to the internet at all.
All I did is checked my SD card for errors, and deactivated the share system info in spotpass.
Anything left to do?
Something I should be careful with?
I just wanna use it...

One day i want test out my O3ds cam then i get this.
What should i do??!! After CFW it work fine but now idk what happend.
And in games too i can't use it. I take out SD too still usless.

I am getting, An exception occurred: Arm 9, Prefetch Abort (SvcBreak) when I boot. Anyone have any input about this and how to fix it?

This is happening after fixing a blue screen brick using the Lazarus script, installing B9S, and Luma successfully. Any ideas what to try next?

NTR not working. Games crashing

Hi there
Its been a while that i did mot play with my 3ds
My system is on firmware 11.7 i didnt update
Ntr cfw worked fine a month ago but now neither the bootntr selector nor the old method work
Bootntr selector gives me this error View attachment 142112
While the old method of launching ntr cfw works each time upon loading a game gives me this error

Could it be a corrupted sd card since its saying about premision stuff
I am using luma 9.1 btw

So I got an R4i Gold 3DS Plus.

Site on the card is "r4ids.cn".

I set it to N, did the ntrboot hack, and that worked fine. Fully updated my system and everything after.

I then switched it over to D, and it booted into the menu fine. Once. Started a DS game, worked great.

Then I turned it off, go back, and now anything I try to do with it results in either a white screen or "An error has occurred."

Did I get a bad card, or a fake, or what? Any way to fix this?

EDIT: Now the 3DS doesn't appear to even think there's a...

So I got an R4i Gold 3DS Plus.

Hello, i installed cfw on my 3ds using the seedminer tutorial. The last step named "finalizing setup" made me ctrnand luma3ds with godmode9 so i can boot my 3ds without sd card. I just wanted to ask (If Nintendo releases an new update) if i can install an future update without having to restore my stock nand first. Thank you for your help!

Hey! I hacked my 3DS when Boot9Strap first came out. I havent touched it in a while. I was wondering whats the best way to update everything as I know newer versions of B9S and Luma have came out. What about FastBoot3DS? Is that worth installing?

I haven't been keeping up with the 3ds scene but I do remember hearing 1.8 had some extra defenses against cfw. I need to access the eshop and theme shop so am I safe to update? If not is there a way to bypass sysupdates?

NTRboot not quite booting

I got an action replay from one of my friends, which is compatible with NTRboot
So, I followed this tutorial

And then I went back to the "Installing boot9strap (ntrboot)" section in the 3ds.hacks.guide
But, when I put the magnet near the 3DS and held the required buttons, it acted normal! I removed the magnet and it went back to the home menu...
But the action replay icon was missing so... what...

My New 3DS XL can't turn on without SD card

Hello,

I am aware that this happening because of a9lh because the 3DS will not turn on without it. I have no files except the basic 3DS (Homebrew folder) and the safea9hlinstaller.zip files that have been extracted onto my 3DS.

I have no CTRNAND or any backup.

When I try to uninstall a9lh it comes up with, 'Error: failed to mount CTRNAND' and when I try to update it, my 3DS says 'Error: firm1.bin doesn't exist or has wrong size.'

Please help.

3DS SD card files are underneath btw.

I've been wanting to get Homebrew on my New 3DS for a very long time, but sadly I can't do it alone because I know I'll mess up somewhere in the way and I just cannot afford to get another New 3DS.

11.8, .cias and game updates

I'm currently on 11.6.0-39E with Luma3DS. I do occasionally install .cias with FBI and I used to update them through the eShop if the update message popped up. Obviously I can't do that any more because I need to be on 11.8 to use the eShop.

So my questions are:

  • If I update to 11.8 and use the eShop to update .cia games installed with FBI, will that still have a possibility to get my console on the ban list, or is that risk only there if you use FreeShop to download the base...

Freeshop problem

Hi, I have a problem with freeshop. When I want to download a game that I have already installed but then removed, a "queue install" message appears and then the program hangs and the console is restarted. The same problem I have it with eshop, I do not even download in sleep mode. Instead I can install the games in .cia format. With the games I've never installed, I have no problem. Freeshop is updated to version 4.1.3. I have 4 GB of available memory, the game needs 1.5 GB. I also tried to...

So, I just updated my 3ds today to access my pokemon bank and now it is giving me this message and saying to shutdown.

I am on a luma bootstrap version which I can not recall the version number, there has been a long time since I messed around with my 3ds. What can I do?
