3DS black screens trying to boot up NDS and GBA games

I know this is something that happens a lot, but I've looked through GBAtemp and following this page and none of the solutions I'm finding are working. I'm on Luna v6.6 and still using A9LH, as I have no way of updating to B9S because my cat broke my mini SD -> USB converter. Any ideas on what I could do?

SD card lost and no backup

Hello. I cracked my 3ds some time ago. I installed the custom firmware luma. Everything worked fine, I had no problem. Until recently my SD card no longer works. I can not do anything for her and so my 3ds does not turn on anymore because she needs the SD card. I do not have backup available either. Is there a way to fill a new SD card so that it can allow my 3DS to work as before? Thank you.

First of all I have luma CFW on my n3dsxl
I named everything correctly but after every reboot i get an error ( 0xf96183fe )

Help with a FE Fates save backup

So I post this here because I'm not sure where this belongs.

Safehax on 11.8

I followed the 3ds.hack.guide to try to install B9S on my old 3DS. I'm using steelminer to get into HB so my FW is on 11.8. However, the 3ds.hack.guide told me to use safehax to make Luma3DS works. Then an error just pop out, "[!]Unsupported Firware". I wonder when will safehax support 11.8 so I can install CFW.

Best 3DS flashcart?

I will be getting a 2DS pretty soon and was thinking of investing in a flashcart for it to play backups.

My question is, which cart would be the best option? Where would be a good place to order one? I have heard good things about the R4. Is there a cart that can play 3DS games as well as DS games, or would I have to buy a seperate cart for DS backups?

I mostly want it to play Pokemon X, Sun, and Super Smash Bros.

so I recently got ctrQuake and I am absolutely addicted. I knew about it’s mods and stuff and I really wanted to mod it to be Team Fortress classic but I have a few questions. What type of team fortress mod do I get? Like the Team Fortress DS one or just the straight up OG mod? I have a n3ds so the c-stick is my thing but I don’t really know what to do or f it’s even compatible with the OG one. Hello there,
I've got the "Failed to apply 1 FIRM patch(es)." error and I wanted to know if it was possible to restore the boot.firm.bak file directly from the 3ds, because I don't have access to any computer for now.

So I got ahold of a cfw 3ds, and it keeps asking me to update to version w/e every time I turn the console on and it's been driving me nuts. So I tried to update from the fbi launcher and get failed to check for update, result code: 0xD8a0a03C Level: Permanent (27) Summary: Invalid State (5) Module: HTTP (40) Desc: Failed to verify TLS certificate (60). It's on version 2.4.14.

Also tried to launch luma but it fails to update;
Trying detection of current payload version 9.0

Could not get...

Question about transfering from Gateway to Luma

1. I am currently on 11.2 GW Emunand and 9.2 Sysnand (EU). Can I use the guide from 3ds.hacks.guide to transfer to Luma without any extra steps?

2. Is there anyway to transfer my existing save files over?

3. Is it safe to use Luma to play online on 11.8? Do I need to turn off anything in particular? (Like, anything that send information to nintendo?)

4. Should I use the so called "frankenfirm" that's unofficial to update my GW emunand instead?

Hello, this is my first post. I have been running NTR perfectly and I even get the menu and the green screen when loading super smash bros 3ds. cheats are turned on but but none of them are seeming to work. i have firmware 11.6.U. NTR plugins work for every other game. and again the menu loads up in game. what could i be doing wrong?

Hey! I am such a noob when it comes to this stuff, I apologize for that. However, I bought a New 3DS XL today, and I was looking around for flashcards that could play actual 3ds roms on it. To my surprise, its such a jungle for me. So, my question is, What flashcard can I buy that will be able to play 3ds roms? Also, do i need to put CFW on my New 3ds to be able to play roms?

This 0-key movable.sed allows you to share SD filesystem contents with other people who also have a 0-key movable.sed.
If you used tickets from FunKeyCIA or CIAngel or similar program/service and install those tickets on multiple devices with 0-key movable.sed, you can transfer SD content between them (at UHS-2 speeds!!!) and they will still work without issues.
After you downloaded the 0-key movable.sed, use GodMode9 to replace the movable.sed in CTRNAND/private folder. Be sure to clear...

32gb to 64gb sd card

i have some issues.

So I have a N3DS and N3DSXL. The XL no gba vc games work and if I remember it is fat32 64k 9.6CFW. The N3DS 11.7CFW 32Gb which I’m upgrading to 64gb yet only one out of 5 gba vc games work. Now I read online 64k can cause issues for gba vc games. Is this true and what should I set the cluster size to for both my cards please. Upgrading is as simple as copy and paste from one sd to another?

NTRboot not quite booting

I got an action replay from one of my friends, which is compatible with NTRboot
So, I followed this tutorial

And then I went back to the "Installing boot9strap (ntrboot)" section in the 3ds.hacks.guide
But, when I put the magnet near the 3DS and held the required buttons, it acted normal! I removed the magnet and it went back to the home menu...
But the action replay icon was missing so... what...

So today I updated my N3DSXL to 11.8 and installed the newest Luma release onto the root.

I was reinstalling NTR CFW and my SD seemed to had corrupted while I was trying to pull out an microsd card adapater. Windows couldn't read the drive.

I formatted it via windows and now I have an empty SD card. I have an old backup that still has a9lh on it and I have a backup of my nand and otp. Where do I start?

I tried redownloading the new Luma release boot.bin but it still boots up to "firmware...

Hack an 3DS with another 3DS?

If I copy everything in the ID0 of an 3DS that have installed CFW to the ID0 of another 3DS with the original FW, will the another 3DS get the CFW? Or will I need to copy everything from the sd card of the hacked 3DS to the sd card of another 3DS?
