Just got a 3DS XL with a Sky3DS (blue button), need help setting it up

I have just brought a 3DS XL which came with a Sky3DS (blue button cart). It came with a 64gb card with a few games on it. What I want to do is setup another card with different games on it, I don't want to erase anything on the card that came with it in case I loose everything.

I have downloaded the latest version of Diskwriter and a template file as per instructions I found online. I have run the Diskwriter program and formatted the 64gb card and written a game to it, when I put Sky3DS...

Hello! I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but when I try to start certain installed games(Namely, Puzzle&Dragons Super Mario Edition Japan version and Sushi Striker USA verision), I get this error and have to shutdown...

This was when I tried to play Puzzle&Dragons. This shows up the moment after I see the 3DS logo..

Issue with TWL Save Tool

I'm trying to extract the save data for use in an emulator (not to change the data). I extracted it fine (Pokemon Mystery Dungeon EoS becomes POKEMON SORA.0.sav) and renamed it to be the same name as the ROM, and they're in the same folder. However, the game doesn't see the file, and acts as if it's a new game. I, being the noob I am, have no clue what to do. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

Can I play DS games loaded on to a R4i 3DS Gold Plus card on my 3DS that's running official firmware 11.80? If so, can someone tell me what loader firmware do I need? I tried a Wood R4 firmware but it wasn't specifically for my version of the R4 and just booted to a blank screen.

Luma3DS PIN?

So I Formatted my SD card (without a backup) and now I cant get into my 3ds without my Luma3DS PIN, and nothing is working, including the correct one. I cant boot into recovery mode or do anything. Im pretty sure this thing is long gone, but I dont want to buy a new 3ds. Help?

What is the best flash card to run DS and 3DS games with ease ( on a 3DS obviously)?

obviously there are lots of threads on here about this, but what was best a year ago, or even 6 months ago might not be the best option now.

So what is my best bet for running DS as well as 3DS backups off a single cart? bonus points if it also does GBA.
I saw that the Supercard DSTwo plus was a thing, but is there ar flash card that does it better?

I don't want to bother with custom firmware...even though I know a lot of folk prefer that method.

Just bought a used 2dsxl that has CFW on it (Dont know what sort as new to all this and dont know where to start!)

It has quite a lot of stuff preinstalled, some of which will no longer work (Freeshop / CIAngel etc) and some that dues (FBI etc) - Ideally the stuff thats not working need to be removed (If it can be).

I also need to reset the device as it still has the other guys details on it - how can this be done without destroying the CFW.

Finally - it has a 32gb SD card in there that...

Hello there,

I'm trying to update an old 2DS to B9S on 11.3
It was working with the A9LH . tried following the guide , but now im stuck on the luma 7.0.5 config menu. Start button wont do anything.
tried diferent Sd cards and everything.

Any idea how can I skip the config menu ?

Hi i have here an New 3DS wich is bricked and i already tried an CTRNAND restore but this didnt worked now im trying to use the Lazarus3DS Script and have all files ready except for the sighax_hdr.bin file. My question is How can i get this file beacuse i really need it. Can i dump this File from another New 3DS and if yes how.

I hope someone can help me.

Hi everyone.

I haven't played my 3ds systems in quite a while but they all needed system updates. I grabbed the 9.1.7 luma, copied the boot.firm to all SD Cards but then i realized i was still booting 7.1 luma. I had installed 7.1 to NAND quite a while ago as a safety mechanism in case the SD card failed for whatever reason. I've been out of the loop for 3ds stuff for a while now.

so i copied over 9.1.7 boot.firm, using GodMode9 from Luma Chainloading. now the 3ds flashes a blue light and...

DSiWare Games Not Working - Please help

Hi all, I bought and downloaded Sudoku from the DSiWare eShop but when I try to run it, white screen flashes and then it goes to the dark grey screen giving me the option to power off or go to the home screen.

I've got a 2DS with original firmware 11.8.0-41E.

I bought another DSiWare game and still have the same issue. I downloaded a 3DS demo and that works fine.

Can anyone help?

Asked To Update 3DS Constantly

On my New 3DS Xl I am asked sometimes to update my 3DS. I am not sure if the update data is already installed on my 3DS, as I have set up my custom DNS. I would really like some help, because I don't want to accidentally click Yes at some point. This does not happen on my 2DS.

So, we all know that sometimes getting the correct firmware or the upgrade .nds file its a pain in the ass, ill be grabbing and looking for the files that you need to use your OLD R4 cards.

Note: Remembers that the firmware does not mean that your card will work on v11 without patching the whitelist on the 3ds or using the patches on some custom firmwares, as well as using the TW Slot Launcher from Apache Thunder.

I haven't updated my 2DS console for a while and noticed Freeshop and Luma were providing error messages. Thought i would follow the official guide to update (and then some youtube guides) but think i may have only partially updated it correctly. I haven't followed the scene for a while but know to avoid to update to 11.8.

I'm on Godmode9 v1.7.1 with firmware V11.4.37E. FBI is updated to 2.5.3 and this appears to have been updated successfully as I can still install CIAs.

1. Freeshop is on...

Fatal error when updating Luma....please help me clean up my SD card and update properly?
