eshop error 005-4240?

Something tells me this has to do with the recent update, right as freeshop went kill. I can't access the eshop due to this error right at start, even after several restarts.

What does this error mean, really? Another banwave? Am I banned or is it detecting non-matching tickets against my account? Should I get rid of the tickets? I heard the famous ticket website went off too.



PS: anyone care to pm me any "off-topic" links?

I'm going to do my best to explain the situation in full. It's a big one, and I need the whole community's help.

A few months ago, I attempted an Old 3DS to New 3DS official transfer, the plan being to add CFW to the new one later which I did.. Many things went both right and wrong, but I had to install tikshop on the new one to get my CFW games back. Something went wrong along the way I suppose, resulting in a sort of SD corruption where attempting to read the title of a corrupted game...

Decrypt Saves from other console Possible?

Well, I installed CFW yesterday on my girlfriend's console, and because of a bizarre SD error, we lost all saves and files.

However, luckily I had made a very old backup of her SD, with several game saves installed, at the time she still used Rxtools.

My question is:

- Is there any way I can use these old saves on her console with Luma? I would be able to put the folders of this saves in my console (CFW) and export the saves via checkpoint / jksaver / esav so that it imports into hers?...

Need help installing CFW on 2ds with damaged screen

I have this 3ds that has just the screen broken but everything else works fine, you just can't see the screen. I thought of installing CFW to enable NTR CFW to be able to stream it to my PC or at least get the local friend code seed off of it. However, I realized that this seems to be impossible as installing CFW requires entering a randomly generated code that appears on the top screen that must be entered. However, without being able to see the screen I can't install. Is there any way to...

I come to ask you one, two questions.
I've a friend who bought a linker 3ds to hack his 3ds, and I thought it might be an opportunity for me to do the same.
Currently I am in 11.8, with dematerialized games (pokemon alpha sapphire, pokemon silver, crystal, pokebank mario kart + other less known...) Like you know how gameyob ds can be installed as a dsiware
I want to convert nesDS to a cia file and install it on my 3ds like i did with gameyob
NesDS is the best nes emulator for old3ds i know theres quickness and retroarch but they have horrible color palatte
Is there any way how to convert this nds to .cia i tried the dsiware scripts but they don't work
Or is there a dsi homebrew launcher that works in 133mhz mode on 3ds?

You can check my posting history and find that I got a dysfunctional card? It was from them.

Hello everyone!!
I need help, to recover the normal functionality of my DSTT flashcard, to be able to play NDS games.

This flashcard uses it, to temporarily create a flashcard: Inject Ntrboot for the 3DS without programming.
I followed these steps: using an NDS for Inject Ntrboot on 3ds. hacks. guide

Everything worked fine !! with my DSTT using my NDS for Inject Ntrboot, and later programming the 3DS, it was a success !! :)

I spent a long time trying to get this to function but i used seedminer/seedhelper and have a movable part 1.sed and a part 2 with the following error
Loading movable_part2.sed...
Error: could not open saves/save_C0000000-040000000.bin

Updating 11.6.0 to 11.8.0

I have a few questions about updating my 11.6.0 to 11.8.0 and Luma 9.1.
Currently I'm at 11.6.0 and luma 9.0

How do I update correctly?
-Download luma 9.1 update
-Transfer the boot.firm from luma 9.1 to my SD card
-Reinsert the SD card into my 3ds
-Update the 3ds. Through System Settings > Other Settings > go to the right > System Update ???

Did the above updated the cfw to 11.8.0 or the system to 11.8.0 or both? Do I need to...

Hello,

I just bought a brand new N3DS XL for a VERY reduced price... only problem is that the previous owner tried to firmware mod it right out of the box and screwed up somehow. I don't have any info as of what he did but I believe it was a hardmod as I've already opened the DS and saw evidence of soldering on the motherboard.

As of right now the 3DS only shows a blue error in the lower screen with this text>

Recently picked one of these up after breaking my NA n3ds xl (during an attempted hardware upgrade >.< those ribbon cables are fragile). Had zero issues getting the NA one on a custom bootloader by following the 3ds-hacks guide, so I wasn't expecting to run into any issues.

After going through the process of injecting a dsiware game, when I go to launch it I'm just getting a green screen flash on the lower display for a split second, then the screens go back to solid white after which...

Hi,

I recently installed CFW on my old 3ds (11.8), but today when I went to turn it on, the console did not boot into the 3DS operating system, or CFW for that matter.

How I experienced this issue: Turned console on (with and without SD card), with SD card shows my Anemone splash I installed, without shows nothing but a black screen. Both times after about 10 or so seconds turns to a lighter shade of black. It requires me to then hold the power button twice to turn the console off (one to...

Installed the EU .cia of this game, after having deleted it a long time ago. But now when trying to start it up, It will not create extra data.

Any help here? I had a version of it working before so im not sure what the issue here is.
