i am looking to backup and reinstall a clean 3ds version (factory if possible) with b9 still in mind. my 3ds is getting bogged down and not acting the way its supposed to be, as wall as twloader not acting right. i also have a day one factory backup 9.0.0-20 NAND.BIN if thats anything.


Edit: sorry i read that sysupdate app can also downgrade and reinstall
ps why dont we have the ability to delete out own threads?

I have a 8.1E 2ds that has the wifi module broken. I also have FreakForms Deluxe.

Can I upgrade to 9.2E with sysupdater without being online at all ?

So in a couple of days I'm gonna install CFW to a friend's New 3ds xl using my own, and according to Nintendo once I perform the system transfer my friends list will be deleted and I was wondering if there's a way to back it up, since I play a lot of MH4U with some of them and I would hate to lose them.

I've read that it's possible if I backup both the emunand and sysnand here:

Hello,

I want to transfer my cfw'd O3DS to a N3DS but that 3DS already has user files on it like saves, photos and games. How do I swap the data of those two?

I also would like to transfer my CFW to the N3DS and the settings and homebrew. And of course the normal user settings on my O3DS. But the problem is, how do I transfer the files to the N3DS without losing the files already on there?

So currently using 3ds.guide to install boot9strap/luma on a 2DS XL. I've been following the entire guide to a tee, but seem a little stuck installing boot9strap. I'm on the following section:

Section IV - Installing boot9strap and configuring Luma3DS

1. Launch b9sTool by starting your DSiWare game
   • You may need to load further into the game so it loads the modified save file
2. Select "Dump F0F1" to backup the 3DS FIRM
3. Select "Install...

I have an original 3DS set up with CFW and Homebrew, but the SD card I have is pretty small(4gb). I was wondering if I could just copy the files to a new SD card, or would I have to re-install everything ? Thanks for your help, I'm still pretty new to the 3DS stuff

My Son is devastated. He lost his Kirby Triple Threat saves because his little brother deleted them. I see that people have shared their 3DS Gateway saves (wwwdot3ds-savegamesdotcom /save/kirby-triple-deluxe/98-cleared) but I don't know if the R4i will let me restore that properly to my legit cartridge (or even if Kirby saves to the cartridge or the 3DS.

Any thoughts?

Long time lurker, first time posting.

Just recently added a New 2DS XL to my neverending console collection and I can't resist my desire to install CFW onto it.
