I have 2 3DS systems, an old 3DS on 11.1.0-34E and a new 3DS on the latest firmware as well as a Sky3DS. Is there any way I can downgrade my (old) 3DS so that it's compatible with either Gateway or arm9loaderhax without doing anything physical to it (it's had a capture card fitted)?

Super Mario 3d Land E3 Beta on Sky3ds?

I just bought a Sky3ds so that I could play the original SM3DL E3 Beta (sm_retail.3ds, sm_dev.3ds, sm_gateway.3ds), but no version of it will run. I've tried the .cia versions of all of those files as well, to no avail. A stock Super Mario 3d Land rom will work fine. Is there any way, Sky3ds or otherwise, to run this beta? The only way I've been able to run it is through the Citra emulator, which is too slow at this moment, and lacks sound.

Powersaves, Private games header

I had search for a very long time yet I didn't find the answer.
So, I decided to post it here.

I am getting sky3ds+, but I don't have a powersaves and it is very expensive.

Then, I found a EU Powersaves, will it able to extract my US game header for my US New 3ds xl console?

I am-
-Having US version N3dsXL
-Want a private game header
-EU Powersaves is cheaper
-I have a US 3ds game
-Will it able to extract the (US)private game header for me?

hello all,

I have a 2DS bricked and I need your thoughts about the whole story. Please, bear with me for a lengthy post :)

I received this bricked 2DS some days ago. It was bricked by the customer while he was trying to upgrade and install rxTools (yeah, yeah! I know, right!? :) )
The rxTool didn't work out the way he wanted (something related to H&S disappearing) so, since he had a working NAND backup, he reverted and it worked (so indeed we have a working NAND backup). He tried once more...

I currently have a N3DS with firmware 11.0 and Luma3DS installed to the SysNand. Followed Plailect's guide.
Im wondering if someone knows how I can return to use an EmuNand/Rednand with Luma3DS so I dont have to worry about upgrading to far.
Or is it safe to upgrade to FW 11.0+ aslong as I backup my current Nand?

I'm currently debating whether to get a 2DS or N3DS(not XL), price isn't a big deal, but will a N3DS be able to use A9LH? If necessary, I'll obviously buy Cubic Ninja/FreakyForms(and I'll probably buy OoT either way). Or do I have to get a 2DS, hack that, and use an SD card to 'move' the hack to a N3DS? I want to be able to buy from the eShop, so I guess I'll have to be on the latest FW for that.

Should I get a R4i Gold RTS or a R4i-SDHC RTS?

Will a flashcart(like the 2 above) be able to...

Hey guys I have an o3ds on 11.2 with A9LH + Luma. I currently use the BootNTR firm 11.2 support which @astronautlevel released and it works fine. But i don't like the issue of BootNTR 3.4 that forces me to reboot everytime i switch game or even soft reset games. For example when i play FE Fates, i often soft reset to manipulate stats on level up and if i do that with NTR booted, it simply crash.
I miss my days on 10.7 when i can use NTR 3.2 without this issue. Is there...

Help for GW user with BootCtr9

Hello,

Months ago, I put A9LH and my GW.bin is launched by BootCtr9.

I want to update my launcher, bootCTR9 and to 11.2 firmware.

But I'm afraid to brick my 3DS.

When I boot, I think I am on GW Mode because I can use the GW's menu (where I can select a rom).

How can I update my 3DS ?

How to transfer hundreds of Pokemon from retail ORAS to Sun&Moon on gateway ?

Hello there

I have a retail Pokemon ORAS cartridge with hundreds of pokemons I would like to transfer to the next Sun/Moon .3ds backup on a Gateway.

The thing is, my retail cartridge doesn't work on my Gateway 3DS (savestate "corrupted"), while it work fine using my brother's 3DS. Also, Pokemon bank doesn't work on two different 3DS.


Here's my equipment :

- o3DS on the latest GW emunand with a Gateway linker
- another o3DS on official 9.8.0 FW
- retail ORAS & XY cartridge

well.. after knowing that an acquaintance had his new 3ds (galaxy edition) console bricked during optless install while using 2.5 SafeA9LHInstaller(you can read about it in this post), i became very distrustful of it, and keept doing the old crtransfer method.

however, after a couple of weeks and few updates fo the installer and the payloads, and beeing no other reports of any issue, i decided...

So I figured I'd add Lumaupdater (from https://github.com/Hamcha/lumaupdate/releases) just to simplify the process by not having to take out my SD each time I need to update Luma...however my 3DS currently does not use A9LH, still in the older emunand/sysnand as I used to have Rxtools till about a month ago and then switched to Luma.

To the point: if I install the lumaupdater .cia on my emunand (running Luma) will it properly update my CFW? or is lumaupdater only designed to be...

Does Luma Updater work with emunand/sysnand?
